12Cr2Mo1R is a chromium-molybdenum pressure vessel steel plate grade under the Chinese national standard. The manufacturing specification is GB/T 713.2-2023 (previous version: GB/T 713-2014), and the ultrasonic testing standard is NB/T 47013.3-2015.

This grade is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel with higher chromium content, offering excellent high-temperature strength, creep resistance, and hydrogen corrosion resistance for elevated temperature and high-pressure hydrogen service. It is equivalent to 12CrMo9-10 in the EN standard and SA387 Gr.22 in the ASME standard.

12Cr2Mo1R steel plates are impact tested at 20 ℃ as standard, with minimum absorbed energy of 47 J (average).
