Product Overview

Q420NE is a Chinese grade low-alloy high-strength structural steel conforming to GB/T 1591-2018 standard. Delivered in normalized or normalized + tempered condition, it provides refined grain structure and exceptional low-temperature toughness. The quality grade E guarantees impact properties at -40°C (longitudinal min. 31J). With minimum yield strength of 420MPa (≤16mm), it offers superior load-bearing capacity for bridges, offshore structures, pressure vessels, and arctic engineering projects.

Equivalent grades: Q420NE ↔ Q420E (previous domestic grade), EN 10025-3 S420NE / S420NL (Europe), ASTM A572 Grade 60 (USA).
