1. For steel plates or strips with a thickness of not less than 6mm, the allowable Si content is not greater than 0.35%.
2. For every 0.01% decrease in carbon content compared to the maximum specified carbon content, the manganese content may be increased by 0.05% compared to the maximum specified manganese content, but the maximum manganese content may not exceed the limit by 1.2%.
